Payment Terms and Conditions

These Payment Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all payments made for courses, programs, services, and digital products offered by KYAfrica (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By enrolling in a course, submitting a payment, or accessing our platform, you (“the learner”, “you”, “your”) agree to these Payment Terms, as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Payment Structure
1.1. Course Fees
All course fees are stated in USD unless otherwise indicated. You may be allowed to pay in your local currency through supported gateways; however, all conversions are subject to real-time exchange rates and applicable banking charges.

Certain courses may offer flexible payment options, such as:

2. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept a range of secure payment options, including:
- Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
- Local bank transfers (in supported countries)
- International wire transfers
- Mobile money (where applicable)
- Online payment gateways (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, etc.)
All transactions are processed through secure third-party payment processors. KYAfrica does not store your card or bank details.
3. Currency & Exchange Rates
While KYAfrica charges in USD, learners can opt to pay in local currency where supported. All payments made in local currency are converted based on the prevailing exchange rate at the time of transaction, which may result in slight variations in the amount charged.
You are responsible for any currency conversion fees or international transaction charges applied by your bank or payment provider.
4. Invoices & Receipts
After successful payment, you will receive:
- A confirmation email
- A downloadable payment receipt (via your dashboard or email)
Invoices for installment plans or company-sponsored learners are available upon request.
5. Non-Refundable Policy
Unless otherwise stated in writing, all payments made to KYAfrica are non-refundable, including:
- Program registration fees
- Access or subscription payments
- Full or partial course fees
- Missed classes or no-shows
Once you have accessed course materials, joined a live session, or been issued access credentials, you forfeit eligibility for any refund, regardless of attendance or completion status.
6. Deferrals and Pausing Access
If you’re unable to complete your program, you may:
- Defer to a future cohort (based on availability and cut-off dates)
- Pause your access and resume later, provided notice is given in writing and approved by the program administrator
Deferrals are allowed once per learner per course unless otherwise stated. After the deferment cut-off date, learners must re-enroll and repay the full program fee.
7. Failed or Missed Payments
If a scheduled payment fails:
- You will be notified via email
- You must update your payment method within 7 days
- Course access may be restricted or suspended until payment is resolved
If payment is not received within the stipulated grace period, your enrollment may be cancelled, and reactivation may incur additional administrative fees.
8. Discounts, Scholarships & Promotional Offers
Any discounts, coupons, or scholarship funding applied to your account:
- Must be used within the validity period
- Cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash
- May be revoked if used fraudulently or in breach of these Terms
KYAfrica reserves the right to change or withdraw offers at its discretion.
9. Chargebacks and Disputes
If you dispute a payment or initiate a chargeback without first contacting KYAfrica to resolve the issue:
- Your course access may be immediately revoked
- You may be permanently banned from future enrollments
- We reserve the right to pursue legal action or debt recovery
We are committed to resolving payment-related concerns fairly and promptly. Please contact us first before taking external action.
10. Taxes
You are responsible for any applicable local or international taxes, duties, or fees arising from your payment. KYAfrica does not include VAT, GST, or withholding taxes in displayed prices unless required by law in your region.
11. Modifications to These Terms
KYAfrica may update these Payment Terms at any time. You will be notified via email or platform notice if significant changes are made. Continued use of our services after changes indicates your acceptance of the revised terms.
